CURRAN, Alvin American

Alvin Curran, born in the U.S. in 1938, is an important composer of live electronic music. He teaches composition at Mills College in California and lives in Rome.
Numerous awards, including 1986 Prix Italia, 1988 WDR Prix Ars Acustica, Leonardo Award for Excellence 1995, Ars Electronica 2004, Phonurgia Nova 2005 ("I Dreamt John Cage Yodeling in the Zurich Hauptbahnhof").
