Ludwig Berger was born in 1986 in Bad Bergzabern, Germany and was raised near Wissembourg, France. In 2012 he received a Master’s degree with distinction in musicology, art history and literature from the Eichstätt-Ingolstadt University (Germany). While studying there he began composing music for film and theatre and performed spokenword-projects throughout Europe. In this context he was awarded a “Netzresidenz” from the Literaturhaus Bremen and the “Poetry-Clip Prize” from the 3Sat / ZDF Theatre Channel. He is currently studying electroacoustic composition under the direction of Robin Minard at the Liszt School of Music in Weimar (Germany).
