Endruh Unruh (actually named Andrew Chudy) was born in New York, USA, and grew up in Berlin, where he still lives and works today. In 1980 as a drummer, with singer and guitarist Blixa Bargeld, he founded the band "Einstürzende Neubauten". Since then, he has preferred to use objects for his music that are found, invented or were designed for another purpose. From 2003, he has developed the Drum Karaoke "Gott sei's getrommelt" (Beating the drum!).
