Arto Lindsay, American guitarist, singer, producer and composer, founder of the No Wave band DNA and a former member of the Lounge Lizards, kindles infernal noise on his instrument, yet countering his often violent and noisy playing with his very soft voice. He sings in English and Portuguese, his second homeland of Brazil always finding musical reverberation in his compositions. The list of his collaborations is incredibly long, ranging from Animal Collective right up to the Einstürzende Neubauten.
